About Kitsap Mobile & Silverdale Pet Grooming

Meet The Team

Karen J Wagoner

As the owner, I (Karen Wagoner) have always loved animals. After doing many jobs, including several years running an Adult Family Home, I knew it was time to follow my dreams and passions and my love of animals. Since getting my first mobile van in 2014 I haven’t looked back. The dog in our logo is my precious English Cream Golden Retriever, Kira Arwen. Though she was taken in Feb 2017 by cancer at an early age, she remains our original mascot. Our new mascot in training, Luna Belle, is often seen in the shop - causing trouble and smiles.

Aubrey Ennis

Aubrey’s love for animals started at a very young age; caring for the family’s cats, dogs and horses. This has become her lifelong passion and at age 15 she started working at the Pet Ponderosa Resort & Spa in Graham, WA. She later worked at her local vet hospital assisting in the medical office and tending to the kennel dogs. After having her 2 children she decided it was time to go back to work. Aubrey and I met and she fell in love with mobile grooming. She completed an apprenticeship of over 600 hours, grooming as many breeds as she could get her hands on. She has also continued her grooming education through seminars at the Northwest Grooming Expo with some of the most experienced groomers in the U.S. She now has an excess of 1500 hours of grooming under her belt and loves spending time with your beloved pets.

She resides in Seabeck with her husband, JR and her beautiful children - Leyla and Vincent, as well as her three dogs. When you call Kitsap Mobile Grooming you are most likely going to have the pleasure of speaking to Aubrey, who helps schedule the mobile appointments. She generally goes out grooming on Tuesdays and on weekends.

Ruth Bloch

An avid animal lover since childhood, Ruth felt that working with animals was her destiny. She began her apprenticeship in 1973 at age 13 and by 1975 she was working full time and had found her passion!

Ruth was a Grooming Instructor for the Prison Pet Partnership (PPP is part of the vocational program at the Washington Corrections Center for Women in Gig Harbor). She was able to teach the women there grooming skills that offered them an opportunity to be productive members of society. The benefits of working with animals both emotionally and spiritually are well documented and Ruth felt as though she learned as much from teaching others as they might have learned from her.

Over the years Ruth has assisted with several rescue organizations and offered her grooming services free of charge to dogs in need. Ruth resides with five dogs, two cats, seven rabbits, eight chickens and various fish.

While we don’t generally cater to birds - Ruth is fully qualified for handling your pet birds (nail, beak and wing clipping) and this can be arranged.

Ruth grooms Wednesdays and Thursdays. As our most skilled groomer Ruth’s schedule fills up fast, so be sure to book ahead!
